Hello Painters!
I hope everyone is doing well. We have been hard at work going through everything making sure no backers were skipped, replacements/missing items are reshipped and following any pledges still moving through the post on their way to their final destination!
I have broken the update out into a few sections to make it easier to find answers.

Main Fulfillment
A bit over a month ago every single pledge in the main batch had been sent out and probably delivered by now. We have had a few folks fill out their survey since that time, so those are being packed after all the replacements and missing items are sent out.
Please keep in mind if you are an international backer customs can take several weeks to clear shipments sometimes (we just had a package move after 6 weeks). Even domestically we have been hearing of the lost Jan shipments arriving months after the replacement XD

No Tracking Number? No Problem!
If you were in the main fulfillment group (not the bulk EU group) and assigned a tracking number there would have been an email from BackerKit with it in it, so be sure to check your spam for that. If you can't find it, you can log into BackerKit and it will be in your account. That said, we also received a few messages about no tracking showing up in BackerKit accounts while we could see them on our end. I am not 100% sure why this is, but it is probably due to two email addresses being used.
If you still cannot find your tracking number email [email protected] and one of us will send it over.

EU Bulk Shipment
At this point we are in a holding pattern while we wait for movement on the palette on the other side of the ocean. I haven't really been able to get much information other than "sometimes it takes a while with freight." I will be reaching out to this group to see how we can get your pledges to you with a bit more certainty. That will go out from the [email protected] address, so keep an eye out for that.

Replacement/Damaged/Missing Items
The bulk of the replacement/damaged/missing item shipments were completed last week. We still have a handful Stretch Goal packs to ship out and a few pieces I need to double check I didn't already send out. The rest of these items will be out by Friday.

Refill Subscription?
We were tossing the idea around the office about having a wet palette refill subscription available. You would be able to select size (Exemplar or Pick-A-Size) and frequency and get a subscribe and save deal. Would this be something you would be interested in?

All our wonderful supporters,
This is the update everyone has been waiting for including us. The final batch of pledges is loaded and being dropped off at the post office!!!!! You read it right, the main fulfillment is wrapped and the remaining tracking will be updating as soon as they are scanned in!
It has been a longer wait for some folks than others and we are so excited for everyone who supported the project to be using their new Exemplar Wet Palette! Preorders will be on the move as well and then we will be transitioning the Exemplar Wet Palette and the Exemplar Pick-A-Size Wet Palette Supplies to the Game Envy shop where you can use your refill codes!

Misc Fulfillment Notes
Stalled Tracking Backers - "ASAP" and "I Can Wait" responses have either been shipped already or are in the batch that is going out, so your tracking should be updating.
I Don't Have A Tracking Number! - After the "final" batch of labels was purchased some backers addresses errored or had labels purchased via UPS and weren't uploaded. Your orders are shipping or have shipped, but I need to compile the csv file to upload those tracking numbers into BackerKit. You should get another email when that is updated.
Inter EU RequestBackers - Your pledges are on the way to our partner and I will have those tracking numbers as soon as they are purchased.
Once a pledge is on its way we can really only see the same information you can. If your package is stuck or jet-setting around the world we can inquire with the USPS, but generally, we just have to wait for it to start moving again. If it is still not delivered 1-2 weeks beyond the delivery window we are able to file a claim with the USPS and get you a replacement.

Exemplar Wet Palette Setup and Tips
After speaking with lots of painters of all skill levels at AdeptiCon and seeing what folks were asking I wanted to repost the setup instructions and share just a few more tips.
The Exemplar Wet Palette Paper takes a little longer to fully hydrate than standard parchment due to its thickness and weight. When setting up a new sheet you will want it to sit submerged on top of the sponge for 15-20 seconds before pouring off the excess water. This will ensure the paper stays hydrated and flat for long painting sessions.
The air valve on the top can be left open halfway or removed so both holes are open depending on how humid your painting area is. You can also press down lightly on the lid while closing the air valve to create a light vacuum. This is all personal preference.
You can stack the sponges if you want additional moisture. The special Exemplar foam functions perfectly stacked so you can have an even larger hydration reservoir below your Exemplar Wet Palette Paper if desired.
If you experience something unexpected or neat let us know! We probably have answers or we can share your tips with the world as well to improve everyone's painting experience.
