Hey all you cool cats and kittens,
The final 24 hours have arrived, and we are cruising along! Thank you all, from those of you who joined the party four years ago to all the new members of The Order of the Miniature rolling in. Our first campaign for the Hobby Holder actually ended almost exactly 4 years ago on Nov. 1, and the support the painting and hobby community has shown us/Game Envy continues to amaze me. We are going to break the backer count on that first project here pretty soon as well! Each campaign continues to push us to make the art and gaming community more fun, more inclusive and just more amazing all around :D

"The Exemplar WetPalette is a great travel system especially if you need a compact system for all your items. The sponge holds water long enough that I can paint throughout the week without it drying. The clip are strong and durable, I know because I dropped it and it didn't break! I enjoy the Hobby Holder as well, it's good to have the option of interchangeable tops for multiple projects. It fits well in my hand and feels durable. "This thing is a BEAST. In a good way! It has a handy storage box on the top for an extra wash palette bit and can hold a few brushes, and prop up your phone as well. The sponge is super soft and holds A LOT of water, keeping everything wet for a long time. The paper took me a while to get used to, but the paint sits really nicely on it and thins well while not splitting it. It took me a while to figure out the correct water ratio, but once I did it's fantastic! Do I like it? Yes. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, yes. Does it stand with other palettes? Oh for SURE. One of my favorite games on my "shelf" is Dungeon Degenerates. Not just because of game play, but the artwork is absolutely fabulous and I LOVE painting the miniatures. I was lucky enough to grab the original artwork from Sean/Goblinko for the fitting "War Paint" card and it sits in a place of geeky honor above my desk with my other collectables XD Sean's artwork is amazing, and he has a new book of musings and illustrations around Halloween running on Kickstarter right now! Check it out!

Exemplar Wet Palette System: The Final 72 Hours - Stretch Goals, Reviews, FAQ Update

Hello Friends!
Well... we blew past the 1250% goal. I choose that funding goal specifically because once we passed it this would be the most funded Game Envy project so far! We have put so much time and energy into perfecting the Exemplar Premier Wet Palette System and running a fun campaign, just like with ourothercampaigns, and we are so grateful for your support! We are closing in on the finale here and still have reviews coming in and we are continuing to answer questions as they come up.
With this goal now unlocked every eligible backer will receive an Exemplar Anti-Microbial Palette Insert. While the Exemplar Sponge is naturally anti-microbial there is always a chance for growth in any wet palette due to contamination. With this nifty 99.9% pure copper foil sheet backed with a pressure sensitive adhesive you can add an extra layer of protection against funk! These will be available in the pledge manager as well.
The low profile copper foil sheet doesn't cause any disturbance to the wet palette surface!
1500% Funding Goal Locked - New "The Order of the Miniature" Sticker

We received the digital proofs of the custom Exemplar Palette Paper Squeegee and it is now in production! The cards are stamped with holo gold foil on a matte finish translucent pvc card.

FAQ Update
Q: Why would I need two Exemplar Wet Palettes?
A: Getting two Exemplar Wet Palette sets brings your usable paint area up to 320mm x 245mm, more than any single wet palette available and at a lower price point. Plus, you get twice the storage, two mixing trays, 100 sheets of paper and four sponges. This lets you be more flexible with your paint depending on your project and save money on refills.
Q: Will the Exemplar Copper Wet Palette Insert be available in the pledge manager?
A: Yes! It will be available in BackerKit as part of the "Extra Stretch Goal Bundle" Add-on and separately in larger quantities to use in the future.

Well friends, we are in the final stretch here :O In a little over nine days things are going to get even crazier at the Game Envy HQ, that is for sure. Having been through this before though, we are continuing to prepare for fulfillment every day so that we can keep up the momentum to get Exemplar Wet Palettes onto yours desks ASAP! #paintexemplar

Production Update
Production of the initial run of Exemplar Wet Palettes has wrapped up and they are now on their journey to our warehouse. We even received a photo from our amazing manufacturer of the freight truck packed FULL of palettes which is so exciting... and daunting XD
We also received brand new steel rule dies with ejector foam for the Exemplar Paper and Sponges which will make sizing the flat stacks a lot faster than the forged die without ejector foam.

Stretch Goal Update
We have already passed the 1000% Funding Goal and are on our way to the 1250% Funding Goal! I was waiting to post about these until I got the actual final samples which arrived earlier today!
With this stretch goal unlocked every eligible backer will receive a full strip of Exemplar Brush Blotter Sponge (enough to make 3+ blotters). The Exemplar Brush Blotter Sponge features a ridged design to help clean your brushes and point the tip in the process.
Each strip can be used to make 3+ Exemplar Brush Blotter Sponge inserts for the mixing tray.
The ridges on the Blotter Sponge help keep your brush point sharp.

"After using paper towels for so long in diy palettes, the sponge was a game changer. I don't have to measure, cut and waste resources every time I change my palette. It is soft yet durable, it holds moisture so well and is super easy to clean. I got paint on the sponge that I left there for a few days, and simply washed right off. Though I haven't really traveled while painting, I do appreciate the size and storage compartments. It's sleek enough to not make the palette bulky, and the extra space helps with organizing limited desk space. Having a dry palette along with it is handy as well. It may seem like a small detail but I really like the look and having the customizable color opinions. EU Shipping Update
We have been speaking with a fellow Kickstarter based in the EU that we have helped with US fulfillment to secure EU Friendly shipping, and it is a go! Due to the logistics of getting these pledges packed and the freight shipped over it will take a bit longer for those Exemplar Wet Palettes to arrive. Because of this we will be giving EU backers the choice between US Shipping and EU Shipping.

Hello Friends!
We had a solid week two with many new faces joining the party, and we are closing in on making the Exemplar Premier Wet Palette System our biggest campaign yet! Behind the scenes we are working diligently to keep up the momentum so we can unlock more upgrades and goodies, and we are continuing to prepare for fulfillment.

At the Game Envy office we have been doing a deep clean to prepare for fulfillment. I am embarrassed to say some of it was still Desk Wizard fulfillment chaos leftover from last year XD We are also looking at some additional space since we had more pallets of materials arrive this week including 1000 lbs of pure, uncut Exemplar Premier Wet Palette Paper fresh from the factory (pictured below).

Q: How do I select the color of my Exemplar Wet Palette?
A: You will be able to select the color options for all applicable items in BackerKit.
Q: Will the Exemplar Wet Palette Supplies be available after the campaign?
A: Yep! Both the Exemplar Size Supplies and the Exemplar Pick-A-Size Supplies will be available on the Game Envy shop and available to retailers after the campaign.

The Exemplar Premier Wet Palette System has been such a large project for us behind the scenes for a few years now and clicking that "Launch Your Project" button is a massive relief. 400% Stretch Goal: Included Exemplar Palette Paper Squeegee
The Exemplar Palette Paper Squeegee is a handy tool to use during setup to remove air bubbles and smooth out your palette paper without getting grease and contaminants from your fingers on the palette surface.
550% Stretch Goal: Custom Squeegee Size, Design and Post Campaign Availability
The Exemplar Palette Paper Squeegee will now be custom sized to be used as a guide to cut paper towels and sponges so they fit perfectly into the included mixing tray to be used as a brush blotter.
The custom size also allows it to fit right into the lid of your Exemplar Wet Palette! It will sport an eye catching design so you don't loose it and be available after the campaign in case you do!
700% Stretch Goal: Included Exemplar Brush Blotter Sponge
*Final Brush Blotter Sponge Not Pictured* The Exemplar Brush Blotter is a thick, textured celulose based sponge that can be set inside your mixing tray to help dry your brush after rinsing or pulling paint.
